Less than two weeks remain until the title fight, and the confidence of both fighters is only growing. Volkanovski acknowledges Evloev as the strongest contender but considers his style comfortable for himself. Movsar, in response, is ready not to rush into grappling and to test the champion in the stand-up game.

Alexander Volkanovski highly rates Movsar Evloev — but precisely as an opponent for the rest of the division fighters.

The champion called the Russian the best featherweight after himself and admitted that he is capable of beating almost anyone. However, stylistically Volkanovski considers Evloev one of the most comfortable opponents for himself. The Australian particularly doubts that Movsar will be able to outfight him for all 25 minutes in his usual manner.

Evloev responds calmly. The Russian believes his wrestling is different from what Volkanovski has faced before and is confident he can take the champion down as many times as needed. However, he does not plan to immediately shoot for the legs — according to him, his striking has improved noticeably, so he is ready to test Volkanovski in the stand-up first.

The main event will be headlined by the title fight. UFC 333 October 24 in Abu DhabiEvloev approaches him undefeated and aims to simultaneously win the belt and secure his first early victory in the UFC.
