In the main event of the RCC Boxing tournament in Yekaterinburg, the Russian went all 12 rounds against Zaur Abdullaev and won by split decision.
For the 30-year-old Agrba, this is his first victory in a world title fight. His professional record now stands at 18 wins and 1 loss.
Abdullaev, who was attempting to win the world title for the third time, suffered his third career defeat.
As part of the tournament, the final bouts of the RCC Boxing Grand Prix were also held, complementing the title night of Russian boxing.
