The regional branch of the Russian Union of Martial Arts in the Republic of Mordovia covers 22 municipal entities and unites 31 clubs in Saransk, Ruzayevka, Kovylkino, Ardatov, Temnikov, Insar, and other settlements. More than 3,800 athletes train in the republic's halls in 15 disciplines: sambo, judo, karate, kickboxing, hand-to-hand combat, grappling, pankration, and other directions.
